Free Museum Night!

Friday night we went to the Cincinnati Museum Center for the free museum night they have every month. Sam liked it even more than we thought he would. Ben has only been to the special exhibits there, so we went to the Natural History museum area first. I thought Sam might be kind of interested in the things there, but he loved it! It wasn't too crowded, so he could run around and look at the different fossils and animal displays. We took him through the cave they have, which actually does feel like a real cave. There was a little girl in there screaming because she was so scared (pretty funny, actually), but Sam was so brave! And he had a great time in the ice age cave. He was really into the rocks. The Children's Museum was a zoo. Free night definitely brings all types out. Some kid with a mohawk shoved Sam and he also had to contend with a little 3 year old girl who hadn't quite grasped the concept of sharing yet. Sam brushed it off and had fun at the sand table and on some of the other toys there. We'll go back sometime when it's not so busy!
