Touch a Truck Day

Yesterday I took the boys to a park in Sharonville for Touch a Truck Day. We met my friend, Laura, her mom, and her 2 girls and another friend of Laura's. It was hot but fun! Most exciting for Sam was seeing the helicopters and the motorcycle cop. He got to see the careflight helicopters land and take off, and even got to sit inside one. When he got inside, he turned to me and said, "Mom, my want to go to the hospital." He got to meet the pilot too, which was exciting because we talk a lot about pilots and passengers in our house (when we play airplane, Sam is ALWAYS the pilot and I am the passenger). Although he was game for sitting in the helicopter, he absolutely refused to sit in the fire trucks, police car, or even on the motorcycle. He kept saying, "My like to see the helicopter again." So we did!

Helicopters are loud!

Sam and Addy in the helicopter.

Lots of fire trucks, none of which he would sit in.

Nope, won't even sit on the motorcycle
